Content Management Application Framework

| Web Application Architect |
|
The Web Application Architect consists of tools for rapid building of Web-based CM applications. The benefits of this environment are:
- Drag & drop construction of Web applications for CM
- Integrate CM specific tool palette into WSAD Web perspective
- CM-specific business components built as Java Server Faces (JSF) components and groups of JSF components
- Intuitive, visual Web application construction
- Running CM Web application in approximately 10 clicks
How does it work?
This technology works as a set of plug-ins into WSAD. The plug-ins provide the functionality to create application Web pages and populate with CM JSF components. The JSF tags and layout are automatically generated. The tool also generates the Itemtype (is this correct?) specific backing beans that are used by the components to work with CM objects. The page flow can be defined by specifying navigation rules among the pages.
